If the fishing takes a bite (whether you've been to the market or you've fished yourself in one of the many premier lakes and streams nearby ;-)), you'll appreciate the fully equipped kitchen Lou Castelou to prepare your Rainbow Trout or Fario. The same goes for the mushrooms picked in the many surrounding forests: ceps, chanterelles, morels and many other species await you in the woods from March to November.
All you have to do is choose from the large battery of pots, pans, and stewpots to simmer your delicious dishes based on local products from the surrounding farms. To cook, you have at your disposal electric plates surmounted by an extractor hood, a multifunction microwave oven. And if the fishing is more than miraculous, your refrigerator with freezer will preserve your fish.
If you are a cheese lover, the raclette machine and the fondue machine will satisfy your desires!
For breakfast, all tastes are catered for since the kitchen offers a filter coffee maker, a DOLCE GUSTO coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster. You also have tea, coffee. The dishwasher will relieve you of diving and allow you to go diving yourself more quickly in the heated swimming pool of the residence, in an outdoor jacuzzi at the SPA ANGLEO or at the lake of Matemale :-)!

If cooking is not your cup of tea, the nearby restaurants offer varied menus to eat in or take away. During the summer and winter holidays, a free bus line, which stops at the reception building of the residence, will also allow you to reach Lac de Matemale, the gondolas of Les Angles or the Lac des Bouillouses.
You can also take the opportunity to picnic, cook your barbecue at the lakes of Matemale and Balcère (barbecue available) or at an altitude of 2000 m in the picnic room at the top of the slopes.
During the winter you will enjoy the 55km ski area and the many Nordic activities: snowpark, cross-country skiing, snake-gliss, snowshoeing, dog sledding, monorail tobogganing, ...
In spring and summer, hikes, fishing trips, mountain biking circuits, open water swimming, water sports and idleness at Lake Matemale, barbecues in equipped areas, ...
In Autumn, the superb landscapes of Pyrenean Canada are revealed to the sound of the deer's slab and the rhythm of mushroom picking.

# AN IDEAL STAY ALSO FOR CHILDREN

In the accommodation, the children will appreciate the view from the living room, a bedroom separated from that of the parents with a game console, a pretty decoration including a mirror made by a local designer.
They will be able to take advantage of a chest of drawers to store their belongings in the bedroom, toys, board games, coloring books and colored pencils lent by my children.
Specific and adapted crockery is also available for the little ones as well as a travel cot.
Children will be able to benefit from the residence of the heated swimming pool and outdoor games under the supervision of their parents.
The resort holds the Label Family +, it offers them many activities and entertainment throughout the year.
They will be able to take advantage of all the activities offered at Lac de Matemale depending on the season: picnics, grilling, canoeing, pedal boating, tree climbing, mini-golf, archery, dog sledding,... (cheques holidays sometimes accepted). But also 26 other lakes such as Lake Olive for fishing or Lake Formiguères for its avi-faunistic course. Not far from the accommodation, they will be able to discover the wild fauna and flora thanks to routes marked out by the tourist office or within the animal park.
They can accompany the older ones to the baths (either in the resort at Angléo or at Saillougouse at the LLO baths).
For the more athletic, two ski schools welcome children in good conditions. On the slopes, they can go to the snake gliss or snow park, go snowshoeing and in the summer go mountain biking or climbing.
They can take part in or admire the torchlight descent every Thursday during the winter holidays before free hot chocolate (and mulled wine for parents) and fireworks!

For breakfast, all tastes are catered for since the kitchen offers a filter coffee maker, a NESPRESSO coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster. You also have tea and coffee. Condiments (salt, pepper, oil and vinegar are also available.
The dishwasher will relieve you of diving and allow you to go diving more quickly in the sea :-)!

The beach is perfectly accessible for people with disabilities and has a rinse shower.
For children, coastal protection systems (breakwaters) provide shallow bathing coves ideal for the little ones. Recognition totems allow our adventurous young friends to find their bearings and not stray from their parents (follow the Crab!).
Idleness, jet-skiing, sailing, fishing in surf casting, walks with your feet in the water (4km circuit) are just waiting for you!
Try your luck at the Casino Tranchant 5 minutes from Les Néreides (slot machines, gaming tables, roulette and shows).
If cooking is not your cup of tea, the nearby restaurants offer varied menus to eat in or take away. Local and international cuisine to discover!
The protected site of Orpellières (east side of Valras) and Montilles (west side) will allow you to evolve in refuge areas of local flora and fauna.
For hikers and cyclists, 3 trails starting from the town allow you to discover the nearby villages up to the famous Canal du Midi crossing the Biterrois vineyard.
On the shopping side, do your shopping every day except Monday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the typical Marty halls or in the open air on Monday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the end of rue Charles Thomas (25 minutes on foot).
Also discover one of the many merchants in the city (beach and fishing items, food shops, ice cream parlors, clothing, etc.). The supermarkets of Sérignan (Carrefour, Lidl, Gifi,..) are accessible 5 minutes by car.
